On April 23, 2019 collectors and experts in contemporary art from UK, USA, the Netherlands and China will come to Moscow. As a part of Сube.Moscow gala-opening the 1st International Summit of Collectors of Contemporary Art is to be held. During the summit perspectives of volatile global and Russian art market will be evaluated, the role of collecting and the necessity of the latest technologies implementation will be discussed.
Cube.Collectors is an annual summit bringing together contemporary art collectors, addressing issues of the volatile art market and coming up with solutions by a group of international experts. The aim of the forum is to unite Russian and international experts in contemporary art, gallerists, representatives of auction houses, museums, educational establishments and other professionals in the art sphere.
The speakers of Cube.Collectors Summit 2019 will be the leading experts in the field of contemporary art from the UK, USA, Netherlands, China, Switzerland and Russia. They will share international experience, discuss the role of collectors in promoting contemporary art, the peculiarities of the Russian art market in the World context and the influence of New Technologies on the approach to collecting art.
Dr. Uli Sigg is a Swiss media executive, art patron, China expert, founder of the first joint venture between China and the outside world and created the most substantial collection of Chinese Contemporary Art world- wide. He was ambassador to China, North Korea and Mongolia in the mid-1990s. He is currently a board member of several international companies and a member of the advisory board of China Development Bank. Uli Sigg is well-known as an art collector to a wide circle of people. He began to collect Chinese contemporary art in the 1990s. As a result, he accumulated the world's largest and most significant collection in this field within a few decades. Sigg personally knows many of the artists, whose works form part of the collection. In 2012, he donated 1,500 Chinese contemporary artworks to M+, Hong Kong's future museum for visual arts. He is a member of the International Council of MoMA, New York and of the International Advisory Council of Tate Gallery, London.
Head of the Credit Suisse Collection
Dr André Rogger is based in Zurich and has been heading Credit Suisse's Art Collection since 2007. He acquires and curates the art work displays in the bank's several hundred buildings in Switzerland and abroad. Serving as a jury member for the Credit Suisse and Cosmoscow Prize for Young Artists is his central assignment in Russia, and apart from his involvement in the award, over the past years, works by six Russian artists were assembled by him for Credit Suisse's Moscow office (Sveta Shuvaeva, Evgeny Antufiev, Artem Filatov, Ilya Fedotov-Fëdorov, Asya Marakulina, and Zhenya Mironov). André is a Swiss national and was trained as an art historian in Basel, Edinburgh, and Santa Monica/CA. Before joining Credit Suisse, he was the collection's curator at Kunstmuseum Luzern (Switzerland), and he also worked as an art critic and in higher education for many years. He regularly publishes essays and books on historical and contemporary art, e.g. in 2011 the first catalogue book of Credit Suisse's Art Collection, which were followed by several additions on the more recent acquisitions.
Alistair Hicks is the author of the survey of 21st century contemporary art, Global Art Compass. In 2019 he has curated two exhibitions, The Time Needs Changing at the Pera Museum, Istanbul, and The Crime of Mr Adolf Loos at the Axel Vervoordt Gallery, Antwerp. He has been an art critic for such diverse publications as The Spectator, The Times and Vogue. He wrote School of London (Phaidon, 1989) and New British Art in the Saatchi Collection, (Thames & Hudson, 1989). He is currently working on two separate books on Francis Bacon and Istanbul. For eighteen years, Hicks was the Senior Curator at Deutsche Bank while also acting as an independent curator of shows such as Raymond Pettibon and Marko Maetamm at Kumu, the National Gallery of Estonia. He was an advisor for Deutsche Bank clients and independently for other companies including Man Group for whom he built the Man Booker library.
Selina is a specialist in contemporary art with over 15 years of professional experiences both in Asia and Europe. She is currently Director of CoBo, Asia's first Community platform for collectors that advocates the enrichment of the art ecosystem in Asia. She is also Editor-in-Chief of CoBo Social, an online media outlet focuses on Asian Contemporary Art. Before launching CoBo in 2016, Selina was based in Paris and Brussels between 2004 – 2014, she has a network traversing the Asian and Western art world. She founded initiArt Magazine and S.initiatives – Curatorial and Art Consultancy in 2011. Selina was Editor-in-Chief of Whitewall China in 2014 - 2015. Selina has published extensively on her research projects as well as on general issues regarding contemporary art and culture.

She designed a multi-use fine art storage + production facility and led teams of more than 100 employees. She authored several strategy proposals, instituted a succession plan and was a key member of the launch of online auctions- Christie's LIVE.During her term at Christie's, Roxanna attended the INSEAD Executive Leadership in Art Program, becoming one of the leaders of Christie's global strategy. Subsequently, Roxanna served as Senior Vice President of Auctions and Private Sales at artnet. Her responsibilities included a strategic redesign of the auction and private sales division and online platform – a project that was awarded a Webby Award Honoree. Most recently, Ms. Zarnegar has been engaged in advising private equity firms on auction marketplaces and art market startups. She regularly speaks and moderates' panels at art fairs and conferences. Roxanna specializes in strategic management with a concentration in supply chain innovation for the art world. She is currently adjunct faculty at Parsons, The New School MS of Strategic Design + Management and Sotheby's Institute of Art Masters in Art Business. Roxanna received her MBA with a concentration in International Business from Franklin University, Switzerland and CW Post University.

Board member of the International Confederation of Antiques and Art Dealers. Graduated from the S.G. Stroganov Art Academy as a decorator (furniture and interiors). In 1991, Gregory Balzer opened the first privately owned furniture store in Moscow, as well as a design studio, and in the following years a group of modern furniture salons. Since 1998, he has been engaged in recreating historic interiors, in which most of the items were bought at world auctions. One of the most ambitious projects of Grigori Balzer was the transportation of a hunting lodge from an old estate in Ireland. In 2013, he founded his own auction agency, Baltzer Auction Agency & Services, which helps collectors and amateurs to purchase and sell items at auctions around the world, and also provides all the additional services: artworks search, restoration of provenance, participation in auctions, payment, delivery, restoration, installation. Dr Thomas Berghuis is a curator, consultant and researcher of contemporary international art, with a specialization in contemporary art in China and Indonesia. Berghuis is currently contracted as Program Director for Durjoy Bangladesh Foundation, supporting art and artists from South Asia, and beyond, in critical international art contexts. An eminent scholar and researcher of contemporary Chinese art and contemporary Indonesian art, Berghuis previously worked as Lecturer in Art History at the University of Amsterdam (2017-2019) and the University of Leiden (2018); Founding Director of Museum MACAN in Jakarta (2015-2016); Curator of Chinese Art at the Guggenheim Museum in New York (2013-2015; and Lecturer in Asian Art History at the University of Sydney (2008-2013). Berghuis has curated several critically acclaimed exhibitions, including Crossing the Tide: Tuvalu Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale (2015); Wang Jianwei: Time Temple at the Guggenheim Museum in New York (2014-15); Suspended Histories at Museum van Loon in Amsterdam (2013-14); and (co-curator) Edge of Elsewhere, Sydney, Australia (2010–2012). Berghuis holds an MA in Chinese Studies from Leiden University and a PhD in Asian Art History from the University of Sydney.

Bernadine Bröcker Wieder is CEO and Co-Founder of Vastari Group, an online platform securely connecting private collectors of art, exhibition producers, venues and museums for exhibition loans and tours. She is a young ambassador to the Museum of London, an advisor to We Are Museums, Cromwell Place, the Christie's Employers Advisory Group and a mentor at the Founder Institute. In 2018 she was selected for Apollo Magazine's 40 under 40 Europe, and Bernadine and co-founder Francesca Polo were shortlisted for the Natwest Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2017. Bernadine is a huge proponent of technological innovation for the art world, and in July 2018, Vastari helped co-organise the first Christie's Art+Tech Summit in London, focussing on blockchain technology.

Jacqueline O'Neill is passionate about leveraging art and technology to design and develop equitable and sustainable urban and social systems. She began developing her blockchain and IoT expertise in 2016 and grew this while serving as Director of Product Marketing at Chronicled. She now runs Blockchain Art Collective, an authenticity and provenance-tracking platform in use by artists and galleries today. The company leverages blockchain and IoT technologies to empower artists to make a career out of art, while helping arts institutions manage their art assets more effectively. Prior to that, she worked in architecture, planning and design for cultural institutions such as the American Museum of Natural History, Clark Art Institute, and Studio Museum of Harlem. She managed real estate portfolio operations for JP Morgan Chase across multiple regions in the U.S., and co-architected and created shared database tools for two companies to improve their project management capabilities. Jacqueline is also a practicing visual artist. She earned her B.A. in Studio Art and Philosophy from Colgate University, has produced work for The New Yorker, and exhibited in Brooklyn.
