Too much red for the space program

600 000

“Clash with the abyss” series

This is astronaut David Scott, one of 12 people who have visited the Moon. He was the commander of the “Apollo 15” mission and, in total, made 5 exits into the airless space. In 1971, he placed on the surface of the Moon the composition “Fallen Astronaut”, dedicated to the dead astronauts of previous missions. This is the first and only art object on the Moon. Scott is depicted at the time of training in Earth orbit when docking with the lunar module was being worked out.
